Haru Asashi

After our recent trip to Japan, we’ve been wanting to put together an inspirational photoshoot to communicate to you the beauty in simple and minimal, in nature – dead or alive inspired by the art of ikebana, Japanese gardens and spring blossoms.

Ikebana is without a doubt our focal muse ( of course we are not want pretending to be ikebana artists - no way!). This ancient art of flower arrangement requires years of learning and practicing. We only tried to bring some touches of it to our photo shoot table and highlight the beauty of each individual flower, whether it’s fresh or already fading – that’s the beauty, in the natural.

We thought of Elodie right away, her style in photography is exactly what we were hoping to communicate through - bright, natural with careful attention to little details that make the difference.

Together with Elodie, we quickly put together a dream team to make this happen!

Haru Asashi - early spring, it’s finally here!
